An announcement for an adult book club called Booked Till August, indicating it's fully booked and back in session. It invites members to vote on next month's Grown Shelf Pick by August 26 through their website 18AugustAve.com. The poster features four book covers titled 'Giovanni's Room' by James Baldwin, 'Happy Land' by Dolen Perkins-Valdez, 'The American Daughters' by Maurice Carlos Ruffin, and 'The Conuring of America' by Lindsey Stewart. The slogan at the bottom reads, 'Where GrownUps Unwind, Stories Come Alive.'

Where parents unwind, and stories come alive.

Booked Till August is our monthly book club designed just for adults — parents, caregivers, and community members who want a moment to slow down, connect, and dive into meaningful reads. Each month, The Grown Shelf Pick sparks thoughtful conversation, laughter, and connection beyond the page.

Whether you’re looking to rediscover your own love of reading or simply enjoy an evening with fellow book lovers, Booked Till August is your space to breathe, reflect, and build community — one story at a time. Vote for September’s Grown Shelf Pick
